If i were to check every ball close to a rail to see if it was frozen it would increase match times, I usualy can tell by shadows if it is or not..in the event that i didnt check and the opponent did not announce that a ball was possibly frozen the hit is and will contnue to be a good hit..Jason good luck and good shooting..

Frederick County in Memory of Barry. Barry passed away of cancer on September 13, 2005. Hospice of Frederick County was a huge help to Barry and his entire family in his final days.

MAIN EVENT

Open 9-Ball Tournament

Practice 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Players meeting and player auction at 10:00 a.m.
Matches start at 11:00 a.m.

All players welcome: Any state, amateur, pro, men & women

1st - $800; 2nd - $500; 3rd - $300; 4th - $200; 5th & 6th - $150; 7th & 8th - $100; 9th through 12th - $60; 13th through 16th - $45;
(Payouts are based on full 64 players @ $50 per player.)

There will be a player auction in addition to the prize funds listed above.

Limited to first 64 paid entries – no refunds. Entries may not be sold or transferred.

$50 entry fee. Pay in advance by mail or in person.

Texas Express 9-Ball rules. All decisions by tournament director are final.

Races to 8 on the winner’s side and 6 on the one loss side. Final is double elimination – first race to 9 and second race to 7, if required.

Lag for first break. Alternate breaks. Rack your own. No conceding games; the 9-ball must be legally pocketed for a game to end. 1-minute shot clock.



SECOND CHANCE EVENT

SECOND CHANCE 9-BALL TOURNAMENT

Sign up by 6:30 p.m. Player auction at 6:45 p.m. Tournament starts at 7:00 p.m.

$25 entry fee.

Limited to first 32 paid entries.

Same rules as above. Races to 4 on winner's side and 3 on one loss side. Final is double elimination - first race to 5 and second race to 4, if required.

1st - $200 2nd - $125 3rd - $75 4th - $60 5th & 6th - $50 7th & 8th - $40 (Payouts are based on full 32 players @ $25 per player.)

All play is on 9-foot Brunswick Gold Crown tables with Simonis 860 cloth.

Full kitchen and bar on premises. 8 Vizio flat screen TV’s.

Free spectator admission.
